Situation Overview

Health care costs globally are escalating in an unsustainable manner and in response health care organizations/hospitals and facilities are rightly being exhorted to cut costs and improve outcomes. Health outcomes are widely variable and a person (formerly known as patient) and healthcare professional may have very different views of what might be best outcomes. Increasingly healthcare systems are challenged to provide evidence that they are delivering the person outcomes that persons want. In fact, healthcare systems often measure outcomes by size of budget, number of employees and persons treated – the antithesis of great person outcomes. We believe it is possible to attain proper staffing, reduce costs, manage risks and improve outcomes for persons: by putting the person behind the wheel.

Imminent changes in Canada’s marijuana industry present significant opportunities for licensed marijuana producers. Under the leadership of the liberal Trudeau government, the industry has embarked on a fundamental transition from that of a medical marijuana sector to one of a medical-recreational marijuana sector. Forecasts predict a medical marijuana market at $3.0 billion and a recreational market of $5.0 billion, for a combined total of $8.0 billion in annual sales by 2024. Canada is expected to generate $133 million in medical marijuana sales this year.

Canada is increasingly recognized as an international standard for the marijuana industry.

Our solution

Breeze™ is a PRO-based (patient-reported outcome) Medical Cannabis Navigator™ that enables patients in continuously and in real-time to easily score the effects of medical cannabis on their health for their own purposes and for the benefit of their healthcare providers. Studies show that patient health monitoring reduces hospital re admissions dramatically while conventional remote patient monitoring is expensive, clinical and challenging to scale.

The ubiquity of smartphones and emerging accessibility of other devices means that data, properly managed and contextualized, can yield more complete, real-time and preventative care than periodic visits to the clinic. Breeze™ is a technology App based program Medical Cannabis Navigator™, designed to support the development and understanding of:

·        the evolving medical marijuana industry,

·        personalized healthcare and its implications,

·        cannabinoid-based efficacy of disease and symptom treatment.

While this market continues to evolve, there is limited data driven research that provides the medical practitioner with the clinical evidence of efficacy to accomplish 6 critical factors:

     1.   Drive effective medical cannabis treatments for diseases,                conditions and symptoms

     2.   Support medical integrity and efficacy between patients and          prescribers

     3.   Support research regarding future clinical applications for              medical cannabis

     4.   Enable regulatory oversight, cost containment, medical                  integrity and taxation

     5.   Increase velocity and bandwidth for research to growers

     6.   Support distribution and accessibility across geographical              constraints
